Membership Requirements
Any current member wishing to sponsor someone for membership must accompany that person to at least two (2) events and introduce him or her to the current officers. The Membership Committee meets each Fall for consideration of new members. New members are initiated and welcomed to the organization at the annual Cioppino luncheon.
Membership Levels
The FIF offers three levels of membership:
Regular - for those currently employed, or seeking employment, in the Northern California food industry, and related businesses that support the food industry.
Associate - for those who live outside of the Northern California market, who are not directly affiliated with the food industry, or who have retired from the food industry. Associate members receive a discount on their annual dues.
Honorary Lifetime Member - awarded to an individual who is a current member in recognition of thei past particiation, support and service to the Foodsters and the Northern California food industry.
